Family Testimonials

“The positive attitudes and uplifting energy set the tone for an unforgettable camp experience. Operated with an incredible eye for detail, every player received the guidance they needed, while building confidence and encouraging growth. We appreciate the way this camp balances skill development with fun. It has made a lasting impact on our son as an athlete AND as a person. Thank you!”
Matt S.
"I loved the organized operation, thorough communication, amazing coaches, and the encouraging environment. I stuck around a couple before heading to work to watch my son learn and play. I loved the coaches positive attitude and energy - they complimented the athletes on great moves but more importantly on their effort. They also called out inappropriate actions when needed in an effort to prevent further disruptions."

Where Play Builds
Confidence and Friendship

Project FreePlay is built for families who remember when sports meant grabbing a ball and playing until sunset. We bring back the joy of simply playing while surrounding your child with positive role model coaches who care about confidence, character, and growth. Your child will move, explore multiple sports, make friends in a pressure-free environment that captures the best parts of childhood.

FAQ

Project FreePlay blends structured coaching, guided free play, and character development into one experience. Kids are encouraged to move, explore multiple sports, and learn life lessons like teamwork, effort, and accountability—all in a fun, pressure-free environment. We focus on developing the whole child, not just sport-specific skills.

Project FreePlay is designed for elementary and middle-school aged children of all ability levels (5-14). No prior experience is required—our coaches meet kids where they are and help them grow at their own pace. Beginners, multi-sport athletes, and kids still finding their confidence all thrive here.

Each camp day (9:00am-3:00pm) includes a mix of skill instruction, free play, small-sided games, and group challenges across multiple sports.

We intentionally balance movement, creativity, and rest to keep kids engaged and energized all day. Character themes and life lessons are woven naturally into activities—not lectured.

Our coaches are background-checked, positive role models with experience working with youth and a passion for teaching beyond the scoreboard. We maintain lower than a 12:1 coach-to-camper ratio to ensure personal attention, safety, and strong relationships. Coaches are trained to lead with encouragement, structure, and care.

Safety is a top priority. Camps are staffed with trained adults, clear supervision protocols, and age-appropriate groupings. We emphasize smart play, respect for others, hydration, and injury awareness, and we are prepared to respond quickly if a child needs assistance. Coaches have cleared background checks and a trained medical professional will be on site every day.

Campers should arrive in athletic clothes and sneakers, with a water bottle, lunch, and any required personal items. We recommend hats and sun protection for outdoor activities. All sport equipment is provided unless otherwise noted.

We understand plans can change. Our refund and transfer policies are designed to be fair and family-friendly, with options outlined clearly during registration. Our goal is to remove stress, not add it.

Parents receive clear, timely communication via email and/or text for important updates such as schedules, reminders, and weather-related changes. We strive to keep families informed without overwhelming them. You’ll always know what’s happening and when.
